What I can do for you

My designs have a very unique, personal flavor to them, although my styles vary for the needs of each project. Whether you need a more flashy, bold, colorful image or a basic, minimal, 'less is more' layout my style is very versatile.
I can create web graphics/layouts, identity systems, posters, flyers, menus, advertisements, t-shirts, and custom art. I approach each new design as a challenge that will help me grow as an artist. I have had extensive training in drawing and sketching, so my more artistic designs start off hand drawn before being finalized with computer software.

How I got to where I am

I was born and raised in northeast Ohio and earned my bachelor's degree in studio art from Baldwin-Wallace College. I didn't start drawing until I was seventeen years old, when I realized that I have a talent for art and design. My formal training was in fine arts (rather than graphic arts) and I put my secondary focus in school on computer technology in order to gain a foundation in the technical side of the design industry. Since then I have been learning graphic design almost entirely on my own. I am very well rounded in mediums and styles, but my favorite canvas is skateboard decks. It could be because I like their shape and the way they frame images, or it could just be that I have always loved board sports. Even though I have become more focused on creating designs on my computer my roots are hands on drawing and it will always be a passion of mine.
